New Year's Resolution

Regular backups.
Also, thank Apple for putting 'terminal' on the install disk.
Thank you. That is all.

Ah, yes, it is backup time. Don't want to lose 6 months of digital photography.

Did you know you can boot your Mac into singel-user mode? Press and hold Cmd-S when rebooting. Should give you a regular Unix console.

To my surprise, fsck in single-user mode fixed a couple of filesystem problems that booting from the install dvd and using the disk utility couldn't fix. Just a handy tip.
